Hi there!

Below is a little bit about myself and why you have made the right decision in choosing me as your   photographer!

I am very passionate about capture timeless moments. I have always been fascinated with creating artwork and collaborating with clients to make their dreams become a reality through photography.

I am a member of (ASP) American Society of American Society of Photographers, (PPofNC) Professional Photographers of North Carolina and (PPA) Professional Photographers of America. In 2012 I received my Certified Professional Photographer designation from the Professional Photographers of America, which is the leading body for certifying imaging professionals in the U.S. The certification was a result of rigorous requirements measuring both artistic and technical competence. In 2015 was awarded the Photographic Craftsman Degree in recognition of my service to the photographic profession as an orator, author and mentor.

I utilize all of this knowledge and information to help capture priceless moments that people can enjoy for the rest of time. Every image I capture is professional processed by me to accentuate all of the finest details that go in to creating a unique fine art portrait.

WHAT TO WEAR

Clothing choices make a session that much better, so picking the perfect outfit is a detail that shouldn’t go unchecked. Here are some quick tips and also some examples of how different outfits and color palettes work together to create visually interesting, yet non-distracting, wardrobes for your portraits. I hope that you will find these inspiring as you choose your own attire.

WHAT TO WEAR: WHERE TO START

  1. Start with a single article of clothing… We call this your inspiration piece.
  2. From your inspiration piece, derive a color palette. Come up with one or two neutrals and one or two accent colors.
  3. Use your color palette to start building outfits. Remember to incorporate different fabrics/textures and that you don’t want to necessarily match each other, but rather you want to complement each other with your clothing choices.
  4. Keep your location in mind when you choose your outfits. In a nature setting, you want to avoid a lot of blacks, loud colors, bold patterns and prints. You do not want to blend in, but you certainly want to compliment the beautiful environment. However, these bold items look fantastic in an urban or studio settings where you really want to stand out.
  5. Lay your outfits on your bed or the floor and see how they look together as a while and also in groupings. Please feel free to text me an image if you need guidance!
