This year I attended Imaging USA in Nashville Tennessee in February. This trip was a special one for me because I would be receiving an award that few people hold at this current time. Over the last two years I have been putting I in a great deal of time becoming one of the premier educators in the NC and SC area when it comes to CPP (Certified Professional Program).

I have had the opportunity to teach Super One day classes, co-teach and assist as Imaging USA for the CPP program as well co-teaching and hosting CPP exams for the PPofNC’s East Coast Affiliate school as well as candidates as my own studio. The first 3 days of IUSA I was a volunteer which is a tremendous way to give back to PPA and the photographic community. I was able to work for various instructors and industry leaders like Bruce Dorn, Roy Ashen from Triple Scoop Music to name a few.

On the last night of the event I attended the awards banquette where I was able to hang out with all of the degree recipient who were waiting to be rewarded various awards like the Craftsman Photographer, Masters, Masters of Electronic Arts, etc. This was the high of the night because we were all called up on stage to walk in front of a good portion of the people attending IUSA to receive our individual awards with our sponsor.
