I have been working in the tech industry for over 20 years and have been a software developer/critical support engineer for the cloud and federal business spaces. I have a very technical background and have been able to bring these skills over to the photographic world.

I have been professionally in business since 2010. I specialize in shooting classical portraiture and creating fine art. When I am not shooting families and business/corporate head shots I am shooting sports for one of the largest soccer organizations in North Carolina. I love to capture various images through different forms of photography.

In my spare time I do a lot of training/mentoring and teach the Certified Professional Photographer concepts to other photographers looking to further themselves through education. I have mentored thousands of photographers over the years and because of my time giving back to the photographic community I have been awarded the prestigious Photographic Craftsman (Cr. Photog.) degree from the Professional Photographers Association (PPA).

Due to my technical nature I have become a Certified Professional Photographer (CPP) which is a technical certification which only 8% of photographic community holds currently today. I am also a North Carolina CPP Liaison for the PPCC (Professional Photographic Certification Commission).

I have had the pleasure to train with some of the top photographers in the industry such as Eddie Tapp, Pete Rezac, Adrian Henson, Dan Frievalt, Richard Sturdevant, and Lindsay Adler, to name a few.

I am a member of the following organizations:

My studio is centrally located within Charlotte and the surrounding cities and easily accessible via Interstate 77 and 485.  I shoot in the studio and on location. If you are interested in working with me, please contact me! I look forward to talking with you and hopefully working with you.
